ELICOS Course Template
This template is provided by ASQA and is also available via ASQAnet under the Addition to Scope – ELICOS section.
While it's a simple starting point, it must be expanded with detailed information to meet submission and audit requirements. Nevertheless, it's a useful base for planning your ELICOS course structure and understanding what’s expected.
ELICOS Standards 2018
This is an essential document for designing ELICOS policies, procedures, and curriculum. It’s also a must-read for ELICOS teachers, academic managers, and anyone involved in the operation of an ELICOS course.
Understanding these standards is key to ensuring compliance, quality delivery, and audit readiness.
The National Code 2018
The National Code is a legislative framework under the ESOS Act 2000, setting consistent national standards for the delivery of quality education and support to overseas students.
It is a must-read and essential guide for all CRICOS and ELICOS providers to ensure compliance and maintain registration.
The ESOS Act 2000
The Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act 2000 is the key legislative framework that governs how education is delivered to international students in Australia.
It protects international students and ensures CRICOS and ELICOS providers deliver education to a consistently high standard.
Compliance with the ESOS Act 2000 is essential to maintain CRICOS registration and uphold student welfare and course quality.
Failure to comply with the ESOS Act can result in serious penalties, including suspension or cancellation of CRICOS registration.
